The Rajasthan Government will form a state level committee for checking quality of masonry work and the material used therein for all official buildings, schools and aanganbadi centers built during past 6 years, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said.
Addressing high state officials at a meeting here Wednesday, Sharma said, “This special committee should be constituted soon and a list of such buildings, establishments which have come up in past 6 years should also be prepared”.

He also directed that all state government departments should get duly repaired or renovated all the dilapidated or damaged buildings under their charge so that the recurrence of a tragic accident could be averted.
The Chief Minister has cautioned “From now onwards in the situation of loss of (human) lives the responsibility and accountability of the concerned official would be fixed up at one’s personal level.
“So, act fast in getting repairs – renovation, keep the buildings in good shape – condition, seek sanctions (for funds) from the Disaster Management head and get the work done soon”,
This interaction and the Chief Minister’s directives, at the merting were in aftermath of two recent building collapse accidents at schools in Piplodi – Jhalawar and Poonman- nagar village of Jaisalmer that had left 8 children dead and 27 students and a teacher injured.
