Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday called on Prime minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and formally invited him for visit to the state capital, Jaipur.

The invitation comes in the wake of the BJP government in the state completing two years of rule on December 15 and the state government’s plans to observe the anniversary dedicated programmes for two weeks between December 11 and 25.

Secondly, the state government would celebrate “Pravasi Rajasthani Divas” on December 10, which would be attended by Non Resident Rajasthani (NRRs) from all over the world, an official spokesman said here.

So, celebrations for the two year Bhajan Lal government would break from December 10 itself, and may be PM Modi opt to grace this international event. Although, the Prime Minister, as well as CM Sharma may be equally keen in making the anniversary programmes too, a big event.

Besides, the Prime Minister, during day long visit to the national capital, Sharma also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP President and Health Minister JP Nadda, the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Union Ministers Jitendra Singh and Rajiv Ranjan Singh and other central leaders, the spokesman added.
