Missiles rain on Kyiv as Russia steps up pressure before NATO summit in Ankara
Russia launched a fresh missile and drone assault on Kyiv early Monday, hours before a NATO summit in Ankara where the Ukraine war is expected to top the agenda.
The Russian President is coming to India on a two-day state visit, his first since the war in Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s highly anticipated visit to India starts tomorrow, December 4. The Russian President is coming to India on a two-day state visit, his first since the war in Ukraine.
While details about his accommodation have not been released due to security reasons, Putin’s India visit itinerary has surfaced.

According to sources, Putin will arrive in India at around 7 PM on Thursday. He will attend a special dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his 7 Lok Kalyan Marg residence.

On Friday, Putin will begin his second day with a red carpet welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where he will receive a ceremonial tri-service guard of honour.
After that, he will visit Rajghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
From Rajghat, the Russian President will head to the Hyderabad House to attend the 23rd India–Russia Summit with Prime Minister Modi.
Both leaders are also scheduled to issue a joint statement. Several bilateral deals, including defence pacts, may also be announced.
The Russian leader will next visit Bharat Mandapam to attend an event organised by FICCI.
Later in the evening, Putin will attend a state banquet at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Multi-layered security in Delhi for Putin’s visit
Massive security arrangements have been made for Putin’s visit. A multi-layered security ring involving Delhi Police, central agencies and the Russian President’s personal security detail will protect the leader during his stay in Delhi.
As per the sources, specialised units, including SWAT teams, anti-terror squads and quick reaction teams, will be stationed at strategic points across the capital.
Drone monitoring, CCTV surveillance and technical intelligence systems will also be deployed to ensure real-time situational awareness.
