The Prime Ministers Museum and Library is going ahead with the use of latest technological advancements to enable people to witness the legacy and history of country’s important leaders and to showcase nation’s story, especially to the young generation, in an engaging and informative manner.
Speaking to The Statesman, PMML’s communications and media division head Nazrey Hossain said that, “India is known for its IT power and best practices world-wide, since decades. We at Pradhanmantri Sangrahalya, PMML always endeavoured to give our visitors, especially the Younger Generation, a unique experiential learning experience through a judicious integration of new and emerging tools and AI based technology to showcasing India’s story as a global player in the new world order in an immersive , interactive and entertaining manners, like tech-integration seen in the west , EU, USA and more specifically in Zurich and Geneva’s tech based museums well known for immersive experience, in Switzerland.”

Elaborating on the work underway at the PM Sangrahalaya, he said that now the museum’s third AI-powered interactive HoloBox is going to be launched on the Wednesday.
According to the official, this will enable the visitors to engage in life-like interactive conversation with Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation.

On Tuesday, the PMS organized a commemorative programme to mark the 93rd birth anniversary of former PM H D Deve Gowda, and also celebrated the International Museum Day 2026.
The programs were designed to honour country’s democratic leadership and also to promote awareness regarding museums, heritage preservation, and cultural education.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director of the PMML Ashwani Lohani said, “Through these exhibitions and specials screenings, the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya seeks to strengthen public engagement with India’s political history, cultural diversity, and museum heritage.”
He invited visitors, scholars, students, and the general public to experience the commemorative programs and explore country’s historical, cultural, and democratic legacy.
