PM offers to cooperate with Japan in space exploration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida for Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s first soft Moon landing and said ISRO looks forward to cooperating with JAXA in space exploration.

He took to X to write, “Congratulations Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and everyone at JAXA on achieving Japan’s first soft Moon landing. India looks forward to our cooperation in space exploration between ISRO and JAXA.”

Japan became only the fifth nation to successfully complete the soft landing on the moon in the late hours of Saturday.
However, the Japanese officials said that they needed time to analyse the precision of the landing.
