Launching a scathing attack on Tejashwi Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya Friday said that the people of Bihar no longer believe in “false promises” of Bihar’s former deputy chief minister.
Maurya said the Yadav family’s politics has been based on lies and deceit, and now the public is completely fed up with their rhetoric, he said in a post on X.

Taking a jibe at Yadav on his poll promises made to the public, including one government job to a member of each family in the state, he said the Bihar government’s budget for the next 50 years will get exhausted to fulfill them.

Maurya further took a potshot at Yadav, saying he is deeply influenced by the company of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. “Now he too does nothing but lie day and night. The politics of both Tejashwi and Rahul are based on misleading the public.”
Noting that the people of Bihar want development, employment, and good governance, not the ‘jungle raj’ they were once in, Maurya expressed confidence that in the upcoming elections, the people will once again reject false politics and choose the path of true development.
