Legislative Assembly, Senior Congress leader and leader of the
Opposition in the Kerala Assembly, V D Satheesan stated that there
were “only 25 days left for this misrule to end “.
He expressed high confidence that the United Democratic Front (UDF)
would come to power, aiming for a landslide victory of over 100 seats
in the 140-member house.

Speaking to the media in Kochi after the election dates were
announced, Satheesan said by putting an end to the LDF misrule, the
people of the state will usher in a new era. Team UDF will face this
election with full hope and confidence, he said . The UDF will come to
power, winning over 100 seats in the 140-memberAssembly, he added .

“The UDF has shown exceptional performance in all the assembly
by-elections held in the last five years. Before that, UDF candidates
won the Lok Sabha elections with a larger majority than in 2019. The
UDF had its most impressive performance in the local body elections in
the last 30 years. The UDF presented the wrong steps of this
government in front of the people. Its response will come from the
people,” Satheesan asserted.
He alleged that the LDF government is using taxpayers’ money from the
state exchequer to fund election-related activities. There has never
been a time when the government has spent crores of rupees on
advertisements like this when it is in a financial crisis.
