ONGC recruitment 2018: Apply for Class 1 executives (at E-1 level) in engineering and geo-science | Selection via GATE results/scorecard

Candidates planning to apply for ONGC recruitment 2018 examination don’t need to wait more. The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has made an official announcement that the authorities have planned to fill multiple positions for Class 1 executives (at E-1 level) in the engineering and geo-science.

This selection process will be done through the GATE 2018 results/scorecard.

Candidates interested to apply have to visit the ONGC official website i.e. ongcindia.com and follow the instructions.

ONGC will recruit candidates on different designations including: AEE (Cementing) mechanical, AEE (Cementing) petroleum, AEE (Civil), AEE (Drilling) mechanical, AEE (Electrical), AEE (Electronics), AEE (Instrumentation), AEE (Mechanical), AEE (Production) mechanical, AEE (Production) chemical, AEE (Production) petroleum, AEE (Reservoir), Chemist, Geologist, Geophysicist (Surface), Geophysicist (Wells), Materials Management Officer, Programming Officer and Transport Officer.

The minimum qualifications for the different posts are as follows:

(*Minimum percentage in Graduation or Post Graduation must be 60 per cent)

AEE (Cementing) mechanical: Candidate should be graduate in mechanical engineering.

AEE (Cementing) petroleum: Candidate should be graduate in petroleum engineering.

AEE (Civil): Candidate should be graduate in civil engineering.

AEE (Drilling) mechanical: Candidate should be graduate in mechanical engineering.

AEE (Drilling) petroleum: Candidate should be graduate in petroleum engineering.

AEE (Electrical): Candidate should be graduate in electrical engineering.

AEE (Electronics): Candidate should be graduate in electronics/telecom/E&T engineering or candidates should be post graduate degree in physics with electronics.

AEE (Instrumentation): Candidate should be graduate in instrumentation engineering.

AEE (Mechanical): Candidate should be graduate in mechanical engineering.

AEE (Production) mechanical: Candidate should be graduate in mechanical engineering.

AEE (Production) chemical: Candidate should be graduate in chemical engineering.

AEE (Production) petroleum: Candidate should be graduate in petroleum/applied petroleum engineering.

AEE (Reservoir): Candidate should be post-graduate in geology/chemistry/geophysics/mathematics/physics/petroleum technology (must have math/physics at B Sc level) or graduate degree in chemical engineering/petroleum/applied petroleum engineering.

Chemist: Candidate should be graduate in chemistry.

Geologist: Candidate should be graduate in geology or M Sc/M Tech in petroleum geoscience/petroleum geology or M Tech in geological technology.

Geophysicist (Surface/Wells): Candidate should be post graduate in geophysics or M Tech in geophysics technology or Post graduates in physics and electronics.

Materials Management Officer: Candidate should be graduate in relevant disciplines.

Programming/Transport Officer: Candidate should be graduate/post graduate in relevant disciplines.

If selected, the candidates will get a monthly salary between Rs 24,900 and Rs 50,500.
