Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana to get new governments this week
''Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has recommended revocation of Central rule in Jammu and Kashmir to pave the way for swearing-in of the new government," an official said.
One terrorist was killed in an encounter with the security forces in the Handew Village of Shopian district in South Kashmir on Thursday.
With this, the number of terrorists killed in the two encounters on Thursday has gone up to four. Three terrorists were killed in an encounter in South Kashmir in the morning.
The encounter in Shopian began in the afternoon and the terrorist was shot dead during an exchange of fire that lasted for a short duration.

Meanwhile, in a heartwarming incident, the police prevented two youth of Pulwama from joining terrorist ranks and reunited them with their families.
