On the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week and National Unity Day, the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities of the Odisha government organised an oath-taking ceremony on Friday.
The event was held in the department’s conference hall, where Director Parul Patawari administered the oath to departmental officers and staff members.

Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s vision and efforts played a crucial role in safeguarding the nation’s unity and integrity. They urged every citizen to continue contributing in their respective fields to uphold the country’s unity, integrity, and security.

All officers and employees of the department took the oath to maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity in all spheres of life and to support the fight against corruption.
The ceremony was graced by Special Secretary Rajani Jani, Financial Adviser and Special Secretary Jayashree Tripathy, Additional Secretaries Bhaskar Raito, Deepak Routarai, and Sonia Behera, along with other senior officers and staff of the department who participated in the oath-taking ceremony.
