New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has organised two-day G-20 International Food Festival on the theme of “Taste the World” and “International year of Millets” at Talkatora Stadium in the National Capital on Saturday.

The G-20 International Food Festival under the one roof was inaugurated by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri .

Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Member NDMC, informed the media persons here that four G-20 countries, China, Turkey, Japan and Mexico, are participating in the food festival with their national cuisines.

He said signature cuisines from 14 states/UTs of India like Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Delhi, Bihar, Punjab, Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Manipur and Meghalaya will be available for the public.

He said 11 hotels are also participating in the the Food Festival.

Ministry of Agriculture will also put up eight stalls in the Food Festival on the theme of international year of Millets, he informed.

Mother dairy will also be presenting its Milk products, Chahal added.
