Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during his Dubai visit, held an important meeting with Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates Airlines and Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, on Monday.
According to state government officials, the meeting proved to be a significant step towards strengthening aviation relations between Madhya Pradesh and the UAE.

Dr Yadav said that there is good potential in the air ambulance flight sector in Madhya Pradesh.
Discussions during the meeting primarily focussed on starting direct flight services from Indore and Bhopal cities to Dubai. An agreement was also reached on the proposal to establish a regional cargo hub in Central India.
According to the officials, discussions were also held on joint investment in aviation training and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) infrastructure, and on establishing training institutions. Serious discussions also took place on promoting inbound tourism in the state and establishing a campus of Emirates Aviation Academy.
It is an important step toward making Madhya Pradesh a major aviation and logistics hub of India, which will give new flight to the state’s economic and industrial development, said the officials.
