As the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections draw closer, "legacy politics" has once again come into focus within the BJP.

He called for expeditious work to ensure systematic arrangements for boarding and deboarding of passengers at the ropeway station under construction at Godaulia.

On the day of Rangbhari Ekadashi at Vishwanath Dham, police personnel deployed for security had mistreated a female journalist and a child disguised as Batuk. The Chief Minister specifically emphasized that there should be no complaints of police mistreatment or misconduct with visitors to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. He issued strict instructions to the police and temple administration to make appropriate improvements to the system and insult of devotees would not be tolerated.

He said easy access for devotees should be ensured to the shops built in the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and that the prices of the goods sold there should be kept reasonable. He clearly stated that religious institutions are not a means of earning money, but centers of faith.
The Chief Minister directed that the construction of the Manikarnika and Harishchandra Ghats be expedited by increasing manpower. He also stated that any historical heritage around the ghats and temples must be protected at any costs during construction.
He directed that the work under the Amrit-2 scheme for sewerage and water supply in the city be carried out in an organized manner, monitored closely, and that negligence would not be tolerated anywhere. He said that haphazard work should not be carried out and that repair of roads damaged during the work should be ensured on priority.
Keeping in mind the convenience of the general public, instructions were also given to keep the ropeway fares reasonable. The Chief Minister stressed the use of machines to make the city’s cleanliness more effective. He also advised selecting suitable locations in the city and incorporating them into organized vending zones, green zones, and green zones.
He directed that the Dal Mandi road widening work be completed expeditiously by distributing appropriate compensation. He directed that underground electrical wiring be laid in accordance with standards to ensure public safety. He also directed that drinking water be free of any problems during the summer.
During the law and order review, the Chief Minister stated that all religious activities should be conducted within the premises of the religious site. No new traditions will be permitted. It should be ensured that loud silencers and pressure horns are not used, and that vehicles are not parked encroaching on roads. He also emphasized the importance of educating schoolchildren on traffic rules to raise awareness.
He directed to take strict action against the real culprits involved in the illegal trade of codeine cough syrup.
During the meeting, Divisional Commissioner S. Rajalingam gave a presentation on future proposed projects to the Chief Minister. Earlier, District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar provided information on various development works underway in the district. He stated that 74 projects worth approximately ₹17,000 crore are currently underway, and their regular monitoring is underway.
Minister of State for Stamps and Registration (Independent Charge) Ravindra Jaiswal, former minister and MLA Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, Mayor Ashok Tiwari, District Panchayat President Poonam Maurya, MLA Dr. Awadhesh Singh, Dr. Sunil Patel, Legislative Council member Hansraj Vishwakarma, Rai Dharmendra Singh, were present in the meeting.
