Eight-year-old Ranvir Sachdeva is a testament to India’s huge potential in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI). He stood out at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 as the youngest keynote speaker.
While talking to reporters at IndiaAI ImpactSummit2026, Ranvir Sachdeva explained how he is contributing to India’s growth journey and driving AI literacy.

During his keynote address at the Summit, Sachdeva connected ancient Indian philosophies with modern technologies and discussed how different nations are adopting various approaches to building AI.
He also shared a real-world use case of a newly released Indian AI model.
Tech genius on AI & innovation
The 8-year-old strongly believes that AI is becoming very important in the world ahead. According to him, his generation will have a key role in shaping what is being built today, and they will be the ones defining its future.
Talking about the role of Gen Z and Gen Alpha in AI sphere, Ranvir said, “I think that technology is changing so rapidly that not only will it be the Millennials and that generation, but also the Generation Z and Generation Alpha who will be the true change makers that will change and adapt to what you all build today. So, I think it will change all of our lives very, very much.”
A child prodigy, technologist, and global author
In 2024, he was the youngest participant at the UNGA Summit of the Future held on 23rd September at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. His participation at the Summit was regarded as an inspiring testament to the power of youth in addressing world challenges.
In 2023, he captured the attention as an Apple Swift programmer, showcasing his skills to Apple CEO Tim Cook during the launch of Apple’s Delhi store. He was then a Grade 1 student in the national capital. Amazed by Ranvir’s talent, Cook had invited him to attend the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in early June that year.
The tech genius has also written a book on Artificial Intelligence, ‘Are You Born With AI?’, which talks about responsible AI and the youth being the change makers. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres lauded Ranvir for his book and said, “We count on you for a better world with AI.”
