Allahabad High Court has fixed February 20 as the next date of hearing in the vexed Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Eidgah Mosque dispute of Mathura.
Justice Avneesh Saxena’s single bench is hearing the case, and today it took up the hearing. The Hindu side has filed 18 petitions in the Allahabad High Court.

The High Court has been hearing the petitions filed in the case since October 2023.

The petitions describe the Shahi Eidgah Mosque as an encroachment and demand that possession of the land be handed over to the temple side.
15 of the 18 original suits pending before the court have been consolidated. Three suits, namely Suit No. 3/2023, 10/2023, and 17/2023, have not yet been consolidated.
It was submitted before the court that issues have not yet been framed in any of the suits pending before the court. The case is also being heard in the Supreme Court.
