The project will not only strengthen Lucknow’s appeal as a global tourism hotspot but also provide new experiences, facilities, and pride for its own people.

The proposed development will feature budget hotels, resorts, all-weather or seasonal camps, convention centres for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) activities, and cultural centres. Plans also include an international yoga centre, naturopathy and wellness facilities, eco-tourism resorts, way-side amenities, training institutes for tourism and hospitality, multi-level parking, a public museum, and theme-based recreational parks.

Together, these facilities will ensure a unique experience for both domestic and international tourists.

Strategically located in Sarojini Nagar’s Kalli Paschim area, the site enjoys excellent connectivity. It is well linked to Lucknow–Agra Expressway, Lucknow–Kanpur Highway, and Purvanchal Expressway, while also being close to the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport and the expanding metro network.

The land will be allotted on a 90-year lease model (three terms of 30 years each). Applicants with proven experience in tourism, hospitality, and infrastructure will be shortlisted through a transparent technical and financial selection process.

UP Tourism & Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said here on Monday that, “The integrated development of Kalli Paschim will not only give Lucknow a global-standard hospitality hub but also create new opportunities for culture, leisure, and business tourism. By attracting reputed investors and developers, we are moving closer to our vision of making Uttar Pradesh a trillion-dollar economy, with tourism playing a central role in growth and employment generation. Uttar Pradesh, with its cultural heritage, historical sites, and diversity, is emerging rapidly as a world-class tourism destination.”

A pre-application meeting for interested investors is scheduled on September 25 at Paryatan Bhawan, Lucknow. The Department of Tourism will extend necessary support and facilitation to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
