Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to spread globally the awareness of the ancient Indian system of health care, including Yoga, Ayurveda, and Naturopathy.
Speaking at a ceremony in Kota on Thursday, after dedicating the new building of the Government College of Integrated Studies of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy, Birla said that the ancient science is India’s legacy.

This system of cure, mental and physical health, has emerged as a ray of new hope and has attracted the attention of the entire world for health education and research.
“Credit for this awareness goes to PM Modi. His initiatives have earned due recognition for Ayurveda, and efforts for propagation of Yoga have taken the dimension of a global movement,” Birla observed.
Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Dr Prem Chand Bairwa, Dr. S Radhakrishnan, Rajasthan Ayurved University Vice Chancellor Prof Govind Sahay Shukla, and several dignitaries were present.
The new college campus in a vast plot of land in the Talwandi area of Kota is built with an investment of Rs 22 crore.
