Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Member of Parliament and brother of Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, Ram Chandra Paswan passed away aged 57 in Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) hospital in New Delhi on Sunday due to cardiac arrest.

On Thursday night, Paswan suffered a heart attack after which he was admitted in the RML hospital and kept on ventilator.

According to reports, Paswan’s condition worsened while undergoing angioplasty, after which he was immediately kept in ventilator, but he remained critical.

Earlier, brother Ram Vilas Paswan had visited him in the hospital. Union Minister Harshvardhan had also gone to see him and talked to the doctors about his condition.

Paswan represented the Samastipur constituency of Bihar.
