Srinagar’s iconic tulip garden opened for public
A record number of 17 lakh tulip bulbs have been planted in the garden sprawled over 55 hectares. Five new varieties of tulips have been planted, raising the total number of varieties to 73.

Sheikh Fayaz said that Tulip Garden, recently included in the World Book of Records, is a pride for the Floriculture department and has greatly enhanced the tourism sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
Listing several development works that have taken place during the past ten years in Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh is the first in Jammu and Kashmir to launch his election campaign.
