Suicide note reveals MP girl committed suicide in Nagpur due to cancellation of NEET exam

A leopard killed an 8-year-old girl after dragging her by the neck in an agricultural field in front of her mother in a village in Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday.
According to forest department officials, the incident occurred in Kirta Phaliya village under Rajpur sub-division.

The mother and other labourers working in the field raised an alarm and ran after the leopard. The animal subsequently left the critically wounded girl behind and fled into the forest.

The villagers rushed the girl to the community health centre; however, the doctors declared her brought dead.
According to Block Medical Officer Devendra Romde, the deceased girl was identified as Gita. The doctor said the leopard attacked Geeta’s neck from both sides, resulting in her death.
Divisional Forest Officer Ashish Bansod said cages and trap cameras are being installed in the area. He added that patrol teams of the forest department have also been instructed to maintain a round-the-clock vigil.
This is the second leopard attack death, and the third leopard attack in the area in 35 days.
Earlier, on 16 August, a leopard killed an 8-year-old boy, Subhash, in Indrarpur village.
Later, on 1 September, a woman, Chandu Bai (35), was injured by a leopard.
