Kashi Vishwanath Temple rolls out AI-powered chatbot for devotees

To facilitate the millions of devotees who visit the world-famous Jyotirlinga Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust has successfully implemented a modern Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot.

Through this technology, devotees of Lord Shiva can now access information and services related to the temple from anywhere in the world, right at their fingertips.

This chatbot is available on the temple’s official website and digital platforms and will provide several services. For easy darshan and aarti bookings, devotees can now directly obtain information about the booking process for easy darshan, Mangala Aarti, and other special aartis through the chatbot.

The chatbot will provide quick guidance for ordering prasad (offerings) from the temple from the comfort of one’s home. Temple timings and directions: Accurate information about the temple’s opening and closing times and the timings of various rituals will be available 24/7.

It will also assist pilgrims visiting Varanasi with the availability and booking of the Trust’s guesthouses.

Multilingual communication:

To facilitate devotees from India and abroad, this chatbot is capable of communicating in Hindi, English, and other regional languages.

On this achievement, the temple’s Chief Executive Officer, Vishwa Bhushan, said here on Thursday that, “Kashi is now becoming a confluence of ancient traditions and modern technology. The aim of this chatbot is to bridge the gap between devotees and the temple administration. Especially during festivals and crowded times, this technology will make the devotees’ journey more convenient by providing them with accurate and timely information.”
