Centre adopting biased, vengeful attitude towards Kerala: CM

Senior journalist Binay Kumar, Coordinator for Bihar and Jharkhand with the national news agency United News of India (UNI), has been appointed as a member of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
The Committee is chaired ex-officio by the Union Minister for Textiles, with the Minister of State for Textiles serving as Vice-Chairman. The reconstituted Committee, as per the official resolution issued by Akhilesh Kumar, Deputy Director General of the Ministry, also includes several Members of Parliament from both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, along with senior Indian Administrative Service officers of Secretary and Chairman rank.

With over three and a half decades of experience in journalism across Bihar and Jharkhand, Kumar has held senior positions with leading newspapers and served as Bureau Chief and Special Correspondent with UNI (Univarta) and Hindustan Samachar. He has previously been a member of several important committees under the Union Government, including those of the Ministries of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Rural Development, and Steel.

Kumar has reported on significant national and international events, including the Seventh World Hindi Conference held in Suriname as an accredited journalist. Expressing his gratitude, he thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh, assuring that he would work with dedication to uphold the trust placed in him.
