J-K: At least 15 killed, many injured as bus rolls into gorge in Poonch district
The number of casualties is expected to rise as police officials reportedly said that some of the injured were in a critical condition.
Atleast 15 persons were killed and seven others injured on Saturday when a mini-bus plunged into a 300 ft deep gorge near Ramban on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.
Preliminary reports said that 12 passengers died on the spot while other 3 succumbed to their injuries while being taken to hospital.
Two helicopters of the Indian Air Force were deployed to fly the injured persons to the medical college hospital at Jammu for treatment.

The vehicle was on its way to Ramban from Banihal at the time of mishap.
Officers of the district were supervising rescue operations.
On reaching Kela morh near Maroof, the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled down into the 200-feet-deep gorge.
Police and Army personnel, along with local volunteers, are engaged in the rescue operation.
