Vice Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi to take over as next Naval chief
Vice Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, who is presently serving as the Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, will be the next Chief of the Naval Staff, it was officially announced on Friday.
Indian Navy recruitment 2018: Indian Navy has started the online application process for 3,400 Sailor vacancies. The candidates can apply either for Senior Secondary Recruit, Artificer Apprentice or Matric Recruits (MR) based on their eligibility criteria.

• On the homepage, click on the recruitment link visible under the ‘Current Events’ tab.

• Finally click on ‘Register’ link. Follow the steps given.
• After successful registration, the candidates can log in to their account and complete the registration process.
Educational qualification:
• SSR and Artificer posts: Interested candidates must have qualified 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% marks with Maths and Physics. They should also have Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science to apply.
