Vice Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi to take over as next Naval chief
Vice Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, who is presently serving as the Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, will be the next Chief of the Naval Staff, it was officially announced on Friday.
Indian Navy Recruitment 2018: The Indian Navy has invited candidates for Apprenticeship Training on the official website-www.apprenticeship.gov.in
The total number of vacant posts is 275. The training will be given in the designated trades mentioned in the notification at the Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam.

• Last date to apply online: December 5, 2018
• Receipt of offline application along with relevant documents: December 12, 2018.
Academic qualification:
• The candidates should have passed class X with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and ITI (NCVT) in relevant trades with a minimum 65 per cent.
Age limit:
• General candidates: The candidate must be born between April 1, 1988 and 01 Apr 2005
• SC / ST candidates: The candidates must be born between April 1, 1993 to April 1, 2005
Selection Procedure:
• The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written examination and interview.
• Written examination: January 31, 2019
• Declaration of the result: February 1, 2019
