LS polls: PM Modi to campaign in Maharashtra, Goa today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday will campaign in Maharashtra and Goa for the Lok Sabha elections.
As many as 124 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the country during the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
With the addition of the new cases of infections, the total Covid caseload rose to 4,50,26,385.
According to the data issued by the ministry, out of the new cases of infections, 61 were reported from Karnataka, 16 from Maharashtra and eight from West Bengal.

Six cases were reported from the national capital.
As per the data, the death toll rose to 5,33,455 as one more succumbed to the disease. It was reported from Karnataka.
On the other hand, 137 people recuperated from the disease taking the tally to 4,44,91,422.
The active cases in the country stood at 1,508.
