India logs 110 new Covid-19 cases

A total of 110 people have been tested positive for Covid-19 in the country during the past 24 hours, as per data issued by the Union Health ministry on Monday.

With the addition of the new cases of infections the overall caseload of the country rose to 4,50,28,163, including the JN.1 Covid variant cases.

However, no death has been reported during the past 24 hours as per the data. The death toll stood at 5,33,472.

According to the data, of the new cases, 42 were reported from Maharashtra and 14 from Karnataka.

The national capital reported 15 new cases of infections during the aforesaid period.

On a positive note, 84 people recuperated from the disease, taking the recovery tally to 4,44,93,798.

The active cases in the country stand at 893.
