Kharge slams PM for his unmet promises
Addressing a press conference, Kharge pointed out that the BJP's professed patriotism often doesn't translate into tangible actions.
Following fissures in the INDIA bloc allies, National Conference (NC) and PDP, on the issue of seat sharing in Jammu and Kashmir, the NC chief Dr Farooq Abdullah on Saturday said that he is sure that the INDIA bloc will always grow.
Abdullah said both the parties are part of the INDIA bloc and the NC will win the seats for the alliance.
“I am sure that the INDIA bloc will always grow. It is for the future of the country, future of everybody. It wants democracy and a secular India where we all can live in peace, harmony and progress. India is for all. India is not Pakistan. The Indian Constitution was framed on these lines that we all are one. How does it matter what religion you hold, what language you speak, what your culture is” he said.

“As far as India is concerned, it is a united India,” he added.
Asked about the relation with India the new government in Pakistan will have, Abdullah said: “What Pakistan does is their problem. It is their nation and it is for them to decide whether they want to live in peace with us.”
“Kashmir acceded to India by the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir Hari Singh and that accession will last forever, we are part of India. There is no problem for us.”
