5 killed in lightning strike in Odisha
While three died in Garadpur block, Aul and Kendrapara blocks accounted for one fatality each due to lightning strike, said official sources
A youth died when his bike rammed into an auto as he, along with his associate, were trying to escape after snatching an I-phone of a passerby in New Delhi on Thursday.
The incident took place near Mahamaya Mandir on GT Road in the Shahdara district in the midnight.
The police reached the spot and took both the injured in an unconscious state to a nearby hospital, where one of them was declared brought dead.

The deceased was identified as Vineet (23) and the injured associate as Deepak (19). Two different cases have been registered in the matter at the Shahdara police station and investigation is on.
According to the police, a case has been registered for the snatching incident while the second has been registered for the road accident.
The auto driver, identified as Ilyas, revealed to the police that he was on his way home when the incident took place.
