Mr Bhowmick will hold the portfolio of public enterprises and industrial reconstruction while Mrs Hansda will look after the independent charge of the forest department.
To support the nationwide call given by the Samyukat Kisan Morcha (SKM), the Himachal Kisan Sabha and Seb Utpadak Sangh have jointly announced to take to the streets on Saturday against the pending demands of the farmers.
SKM will march to Raj Bhavan (Governor House), Shimla demanding legally guaranteed Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all crops, waiving off the debt of the farmers.
Marking the second anniversary of the SKM-led farmer struggle, they will also apprise the Governor of the problems of the farmers of the state and also submit a memorandum to the President through the Governor.

In a statement issued here on Friday, the farmers’ forum alleged breach of assurance by the Centre on farmers’ pending demands and said on the occasion of the Constitution day of the country the farmers will remind the central government of the promises made to the farmers through the memorandum.
“It was after the agitation of the farmers at the national level that the Central government had withdrawn three agricultural laws. The farmers had raised their demands which centre had given its nod, however after a lapse of almost a year no action has been taken,” they said.
The SKM, in a letter written to the Central Government on 21 November last year, had raised six demands, and responding to them in writing the Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare on 9 December had given assurance and relying on this letter SKM had decided to windup the protests on the border of Delhi on 11 December 2021, they maintained.
“There is a lot of anger among the farmer organizations and SKM is preparing to launch the second phase of its movement,” they claimed.
