HC allows YSRTP leader YS Sharmila to resume padyatra

YSRTP leader YS Sharmila secured Telangana high court’s permission to resume her padayatra in Warangal. However, the court directed her counsel that she should not make any derogatory comments against the government or politician.

The police were also slammed as the court wondered why politicians were approaching court to go on padayatra. Even as she left her residence to go to high court the police blocked all roads in front of her residence.

After discussions, she was finally allowed to go.

Sharmila had been on indefinite fast after the police refused to allow her to resume the padayatra. She had made some derogatory comments against the local BRS MLA and his supporters attacked her convoy.

The police not only arrested her but also denied her permission to resume the padayatra citing law and order conditions.
