Ahead of the Haryana and Maharashtra polls scheduled on October 21, voters need to keep their voter ID card with them and know about their polling booth. It is important to reach to the correct polling booth in order to cast your vote.

Voting will be done at polling booths set at different locations in the state. However, voters can vote only at the polling booth where their name is registered.

The pooling booth can be tracked online on the National Voters’ Services Portal by providing the voter’s details.

Here are the steps to track the polling booth for the upcoming Assembly polls in Haryana and Maharashtra.

Step 1: Go to the official website of National Voters’ Services Portal

Step 2: Hit the ‘Know your’ box appearing at the screen

Step 3: Enter the EPIC number in the box appearing

Step 4: The details will appear at the screen

Please make sure to check your name in the voter list before searching for the polling booth.

Voters can check the contact details of Booth Level Officers, Electoral Registration Officers and District Election Officers by using calling on the 1950 Helpline Number. Services can also be availed by voters by sending the SMS to the helpline without any cost.

Voters need to type ECI <EPIC Number> <0 (for reply in English> or <1 (for reply in regional language)> to get the details of polling station.

The elections to the 288-seat Maharashtra and 90-seat Haryana Assembly is scheduled on October 21. The counting of votes will be held on October 24 with the declaration of results on the same day in both the states.
