With the clock ticking towards the election results in Haryana, the picture of who will form the government is getting blur.

The Dushyant Chautala led, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) is in demand in the state with the trend till now not showing clear majority to any of the major party, neither BJP nor Congress.

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has spoken to Ahmed Patel and Bhupinder Singh Hooda and has given him free hand on government formation in the state. Gandhi has told him to take all the decisions regarding to the government formation on his own and decide whether to give the CM post to JJP or not.

JJP chief Dushyant Chautala mocked BJP while speaking to the media he said, “Haryana ki janta ka pyar mil raha hai. Badlaav ki nishaani hai. 75 paar toh fail hogaya (for BJP), ab Yamuna paar karne ki baari hai. (We are getting the love of the people of Haryana. This is a sign of change. BJP’s bid to cross 75 has failed, now they will have to cross the Yamuna.)”

As per the media reports, Chautala has demanded the CM post from the Congress if they want his party’s support in the state.

However, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal is a bit cautious on the issue as he told IANS that the Congress is waiting for the final tally.

Sources told IANS that if Congress crosses the 35-seat mark then it will try for any government formation.

Earlier in the day, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala had said that neither BJP nor Congress will cross the 40-seat mark. He further said that his party will play the kingmaker.

As per the trends projected by the Election Commission, BJP is currently leading in 39 seats and Congress in 29 seats. JJP is leading in 11 seats.

If current trends hold, none are in position to form the Government on their own as the majority mark is 46.
