Gold found in three districts of Odisha

The gold deposits have been found in different locations in Deogarh, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts Steel, Steel and Mines Minister Prafulla Mallik told the Assembly on Monday.

Gold deposits have been discovered in three districts of Odisha as per the surveys by the Directorate of Mines and Geology of the State Government and the Centre’s Geological Survey of India (GSI).

“The gold deposits have been found in different locations in Deogarh, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts Steel. The preliminary survey by the geology directorate and GSI has found the presence of gold in these districts,” Steel and Mines Minister Prafulla Mallik told the Odisha Assembly on Monday.

The gold reserve has been discovered in Jashipur, Saraguda, Ruansi, Idelkucha, Badampahar and Suleipat (Dhusura hill) in Mayurbhanj district while the yellow metal reserve has been found in Adas in Deogarh district.

Similarly, the presence of gold metals has been discovered in Gopur, Gazipur, Kusakala, Adal and Saleikana, Dimirimundaand Karadanga of Telkoi block in Keonjhar district.
