Suspected Lashkar-e-Tayiba (LeT) terrorists barged into the residence of a forest department employee Tariq Ahmad Malik in the Zandpal area in Tangmarg of north Kashmir Thursday evening and shot him dead.

“Terrorists this evening barged inside Tariq Ahmad Malik’s house in Zandpal area in Tangmarg and fired upon him,” a police spokesman said.

Police said that 38-years-old Tariq suffered critical gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries.

Initial investigations established the involvement of LeT terrorist Yousuf Dar alias Kantroo resident of Kawoosa Budgam in this incident.
