Oil companies reduce price of 19 kg commercial and 5 kg FTL cylinders
Oil marketing companies reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders and 5 kg FTL (Free Trade LPG) cylinders, said sources.
In a horrific fire at a house early this morning, five people of a family, including three children, were burnt alive after an LPG cylinder caught fire allegedly and burst at Jaisalva village in the Rajasthan capital.
All bodies were charred beyond easy identification, the police said. At present, the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, they added.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and the fire was doused with the help of the fire brigade. The police took out the burnt bodies and shifted them to the mortuary of Sawai Mansingh Hospital.

The man, said to be a daily-wage earner from Bihar, his wife and their three children were present in the room, and the cylinder was lying near the gate and no one from the family could come out as the fire broke out and the cylinder ripped off.
The deceased was a resident of Madhubani, Bihar, and lived in a rented house, which comes under Vishwakarma police station in Jaipur.
Expressing his serious concern, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma in his post on X said, “The news of the untimely demise of 5 civilians due to the massive fire at Vishwakarma in Jaipur is heart-wrenching. I pray to Almighty God to grant peace to the departed souls.”
