Inaugurating the three-day Rozgar Mahakumbh 2025 organized here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is becoming the first state in the country where minimum wages and minimum salary guarantee are being ensured to every working youth.

Describing the youth as a source of immense energy, the Chief Minister said that the largest youth population of Uttar Pradesh is a good fortune for this state.
He said that today the talent of UP is in demand in the country and the world, and the state, which once suffered the pain of migration for employment, is providing employment today.
The Chief Minister said that once the entire village used to migrate from the state for employment, but today, the same Uttar Pradesh is providing employment opportunities within itself.
This change is the result of well-planned efforts in the last 8 years. He said that today the talent of UP is in demand not only in the country but all over the world.
He said that this event is a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mission of employment and the resolution of developed India. “It is important for every youth to get work according to their qualifications. Wherever the opportunity came, these youth have proved their mettle with their talent and ability,” he added.
The Chief Minister said that through the One District One Product Scheme in the state, traditional enterprises have been given a new identity.
“Around 96 lakh units have been revived in the MSME sector. When more than 40 lakh migrant workers returned during the Corona period, these MSME units employed 90 percent of them, and they are still associated with the same system,” he said.
CM Yogi said that the state government has provided a security insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh to the entrepreneurs who have registered MSME units.
CM Yogi said that in the last 8 years, 8.5 lakh youth have been given government jobs with transparency.
“In this, a large number of appointments have also been made in the police department, education, health, agriculture, PWD and universities. Uttar Pradesh is counted as the largest state in the country to provide government jobs to such a large number of youth in such a short time,” the CM said.
