The Election Commission of India (ECI) Thursday said as of today, 89.7 per cent of the existing electors in Bihar have submitted their Enumeration Forms to be included in the draft Electoral Roll, which is set to be published on August 1.
“With 8 more days to go, only 5.8% of electors remain to fill the form,” the poll panel said in its daily update of its Special Intensive Revision drive in Bihar.

The election commission is undertaking efforts to update the electoral rolls in Bihar. As part of this process, Enumeration Forms have been distributed, and electors can check the status of their forms on the ECINet App or on (link unavailable) Forms can also be filled online in Hindi.
Of a total electors of 7,89,69,844, so far 7,08,18,162 (89.7%) enumeration forms have been received, while 45,82,247 (5.8%)of the Enumeration Forms are still remaining. The electors not found at their addresses were 35,69,435 (4.5%), the poll panel said in its daily update.
Highlighting its efforts for verification and inclusion, the poll panel said special camps are being set up in all 5,683 wards of Bihar’s 261 Urban Local Bodies. As regards electors who have temporarily migrated outside Bihar can fill forms online while information on electors who are probably deceased, permanently shifted, or enrolled at multiple places is being shared with political parties’ representatives for verification, the poll panel said.
