Eight residents of the Ayodhya district, unable to enter Nepal due to the ongoing violence in Nepal, are stranded at the Hilsa border connecting Nepal and China. All of them had gone to China to visit Mount Kailash.

Gosaiganj MLA from Ayodhya Abhay Singh wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday with a request for the safe return of the residents of Ayodhya to India.

In his letter to the prime minister Narendra Modi, the MLA mentioned that the residents of the Ayodhya district, Sushil Rajpal, Ramakant Yadav, Madan Jaiswal, Shailendra Agrahari, Vikas Gupta, Abhay Vikram Singh, Chaman Singh, and Anoop Singh had gone to visit Mount Kailash in China. They all have been stopped at the Hilsa border while returning from China.
