He has already filed a petition in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court, seeking cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s Indian citizenship and the registration of an FIR against him. He has alleged that LoP Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi had submitted documents indicating British citizenship while residing in the UK.

The controversy surrounding Rahul Gandhi’s alleged foreign citizenship has been a subject of political debate for several years. The latest move by the ED suggests a renewed focus on investigating the claims that Gandhi may have violated Indian citizenship laws.
