An earthquake hit some places spread across the districts of Indore, Barwani, Dhar, Khargone and Alirajpur in Madhya Pradesh today afternoon.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake measured 3 on the Richter scale at its epicenter. Its magnitude was 3 and 2.8 at other places.

The epicenter was said to be around 151 KM West-South-West of Indore in the Dhar district adjoining the Maharashtra and Gujarat borders.
