The Delhi Police have filed a chargesheet in court against self-styled godman Chaitanyanand Saraswati and four others in connection with allegations of sexual harassment of students.
According to police sources, the extensive 1,077-page chargesheet was submitted before a Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) on Wednesday, marking the conclusion of the initial phase of the investigation.

The investigation includes statements from 43 witnesses. Chaitanyanand Saraswati has been booked under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

His co-accused—Bhawna Kapil, Shweta, and Kajal Kapil—have been charged under separate provisions of the BNS. Another individual, Harish Singh Kapkoti, also faces multiple charges in the same case.
Sources confirmed that the police built their case using a combination of witness testimonies, digital evidence, and physical inspections of relevant locations.
