Adorned with countless rows of lamps, Ayodhya glowed on Sunday evening, as if the Treta Yuga itself had descended on earth.

The grand spectacle of the incarnation and coronation of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita in Ramkatha Park became unforgettable for millions of devotees. As soon as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath began pulling Lord Shri Ram’s chariot, the entire park reverberated with thunderous chants of “Jai Shri Ram.”

Amidst the shower of flowers and Vedic chants, the Chief Minister, accompanied by Guru Vashishtha, worshipped and paid obeisance to Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan, and Hanuman, evoking the Treta Yuga. The golden throne, chariot, horses, and decorated royal court brought the Ramrajya of the Treta Yuga era to life.
CM Adityanath first garlanded Ram, Lakshman, Mother Sita, and Hanuman. Ram rode in front, followed by Mother Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman. The Chief Minister pulled the chariot forward, assisted by saints. Following this, Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Hanuman walked along the CM. Chief Minister Adityanath performed aarti for Lord Rama, then performed a symbolic coronation and received his blessings.

Following this, Cabinet Ministers Surya Pratap Shahi, Jaiveer Singh, and Rakesh Sachan took the stage to worship and offer prayers to the Ram Darbar. Ram Temple Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, along with saints, mahants, public representatives, and BJP officials, were present.

Rows of lamps shimmered from Ramkatha Park to Ram Ki Paidi, Dharampath, Lata Chowk, and Hanumangarhi, engulfing the entire city in a divine glow. Every street, every ghat, and every building echoed with the chant of “Jai Shri Ram.” Devotees lit lamps, sang devotional songs, and captured the scene on their cameras.

Deepotsav 2025 not only set a record but also established a new standard in the form of the Ayodhya Model. It showcased a beautiful blend of faith, culture, and modernity, combined with security, cleanliness, and discipline.

When the entire Ayodhya was illuminated with lamps, it felt as if the gods themselves had descended to adorn Ayodhya. This scene, stretching from Ramkatha Park to the banks of the Saryu River, will remain etched in the memories of the people for years. Deepotsav 2025 proved that Ayodhya is not just a city, but a vibrant light of faith that will forever illuminate the path of humanity.

The most emotional moment of the programme came when the Bharat Milap scene was enacted. Shri Ram embraced Bharat as he fell at his feet. For a moment, all the devotees were stunned, and then the entire Saryu River was filled with devotion, with chants of Jai Shri Ram. Devotees were overwhelmed with emotion, tears streaming from their eyes. It felt as if a scene from the Ramayana had come to life.
