The Tibetan spiritual leader, the 14th Dalai Lama, on Wednesday attended a long life prayer ceremony that was dedicated to him at Zanskar in Ladakh.
Hundreds of people from across the Union territory of Ladakh participated in the prayers.

The ceremony was organised by the Zanskar Buddhist Association, the Zanskar Gonpa Association and the Karsha Gon Yarchos Chenmo Organising Committee.
The ceremony took place at the Kalachakra Teaching Ground in the remote Himalayan region of Padum in Zanskar. Earlier, the Dalai Lama laid the foundation stone for a Jarung Kashor-style stupa in Zanskar.
