The Rajasthan Assembly witnessed disruption for a short while as the opposition Congress MLAs raised slogans and staged a walkout in protest against the “dissatisfactory” reply from Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar.
The issue arose during the Question Hour when Prashant Sharma of the Congress raised a query regarding the facilities and services available at Achrol Hospital in his Amer constituency.

However, instead of providing details about equipment, services, and facilities at Achrol Hospital, Health Minister Khimsar elaborated on the status and facilities at Amer Hospital. This infuriated Sharma and other members, including Opposition leader Tika Ram Jully.
The primary question raised by Sharma concerned the reported transfer of a 10,000-square-metre plot of land for Achrol Hospital and alleged mismanagement at both Achrol and Amer Hospital.
As the minister continued reading out details related to the Amer hospital in his reply, Sharma and Jully expressed dissatisfaction and voiced their discontent. Other members also joined them, prompting the minister to make a satirical remark that further angered the opposition benches.
Leader of Opposition Jully and Prashant countered that the government was giving an incorrect response and expressed their dissatisfaction. Amid heated exchanges in the House, they staged a walkout in protest.
On a few other occasions as well, brief face-offs and heated exchanges between the Treasury and Opposition benches disrupted proceedings in the Assembly. However, the House continued with its scheduled agenda, completing Zero Hour discussions, regular business, and legislative work.
