Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that people should celebrate the upcoming festivals with joy and enthusiasm. He directed all government and administrative officials to ensure the safety and convenience of the people during the upcoming festivals.

The Chief Minister stated that the state government’s Mission Shakti program embodies women’s safety, respect, and self-reliance. The state-wide Mission Shakti 5.0 will launch on September 22, the first day of Sharadiya Navratri. This campaign will continue for a month in phases.

The Chief Minister said that female beat officers should educate people in Gram Panchayats about women’s safety and provide information about government schemes. Under the Mission Shakti campaign, women who have performed well should be identified and honored at the state and district levels.
The Chief Minister urged officials to increase vigilance on social media. Strict action should be taken against those who spread rumors and fake news that create fake accounts and create a vitiating atmosphere. The true facts of incidents should be brought to the public’s attention in a timely manner through social and digital media.
All Divisional Commissioners, District Magistrates, Additional Director Generals of Police (Zones), all Police Commissioners, Inspectors General of Police, Deputy Inspectors General of Police, and other senior officials participated in the meeting via video conferencing.
