On the first day of Sharadiya Navratri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took strong action against land encroachment, directing officials to initiate strict legal measures against land mafias and protect the land rights of the poor. He emphasized the need for effective coordination between Revenue and Police departments to swiftly resolve land disputes.

Before offering prayers at the Gorakhnath Temple, CM Yogi began the day by holding a Janata Darshan at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, where he heard grievances from around 250 people, including many women.

At the Gorakhnath Temple, he met people, heard their concerns, and instructed officials to ensure swift and effective solutions. He emphasized that every needy individual must receive the full benefits of government welfare schemes.

One woman raised the issue of not having a ration card. The Chief Minister instructed officials to handle such matters with sensitivity, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries are provided ration cards and pension benefits without delay.

Another person raised the issue of land grabbing, CM Yogi directed strict legal action, stressing that the land of the poor must be protected from encroachment. He also ordered effective coordination between the Revenue and Police departments to resolve such disputes.

Some persons came up with requests for medical assistance, the Chief Minister assured people that no treatment would be stalled due to a lack of funds. He directed officials to prepare cost estimates on priority and submit them promptly, assuring people that the government would provide the required financial support.

CM Yogi urged officials to prioritize timely, transparent, and sensitive handling of public grievances, reflecting his continued emphasis on citizen-first governance during the festive season.
