He said that the future belongs to Artificial Intelligence and it’s coming a thousand times faster than the mobile phone.
“PM Modi wants the benefits of AI to reach the lowest possible strata of the society. The government is planning to run an AI for All program and its impact will be visible in the next Kumbh Mela. People will not have to run from pillar to post. Their lives will be made easier with AI-based technology in future to ensure the reach of AI to the common man,” he said.
“Lots of research work is being done but desired results will not be obtained if we don’t link it with the industry. The AI revolution will bring many opportunities for students in future.”
Speaking on this occasion, Secretary IT Uttarakhand, Nitesh Jha said: “The state will soon introduce an AI Policy which will pave the way for learning AI applications and using its public good. Top five teams will be selected from all 25 universities in the state following a competitive process to be conducted by the Uttarakhand government. Similarly, top five AI startups will also be picked
by the state government to help them in their endeavours.”
