Citizens can enter their family information online by visiting the “https://se.census.gov.in” portal.
Registration can be done using the name of the head of the family and the mobile number of any one member. After the self-enumeration, a Self-Enumeration ID will be generated, which must be kept safe and provided to the enumerator when they visit your home.
Ranjita said that self-enumeration is a secure, simple, and time-saving process. It will allow citizens to enter their information from the comfort of their homes and will help ensure a timely and smooth census process. This data, collected under the Census Act, 1948, is completely confidential. Data is encrypted across all digital tools, ensuring complete security of citizens’ personal information.
She requested all the citizens of Bihar to make maximum use of the self-enumeration facility to make the objective of “Public Welfare through Census” successful and ensure their participation in this work of national importance.
