Celebratory atmosphere in Kashi, after BJP’s success in Bihar polls

Following the trends emerging from the Bihar Assembly elections, a festive atmosphere prevailed among Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers here on Friday. Party leaders and workers celebrated with drums and flower showers and exchanged sweets.

Backward Class Front (Kashi Region) Vice President Anoop Jaiswal conveyed heartfelt greetings and best wishes on behalf of the people of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency to the people of Bihar.

BJP workers celebrated enthusiastically near the Geeta Mandir, following the emerging trends of victory. Flowers were showered along the streets, accompanied by dancing and singing to the beats of drums. This win is a victory for the people of Bihar, party leaders claimed.

Chants of “Jai Shri Ram” resonated with the waving of BJP flags and firecrackers. Activists believe that a wave of support for Prime Minister Modi is visible in Bihar.

In some places, including Kashi, people celebrated with bulldozers, saying that today will mark the beginning of a new chapter in Bihar’s development.
